Trance Healing

Does anyone have any expericene of Trance Healing?

I have read that there are one or two legal issues with Trance Healing, controversies which don't apply to regular Spiritual Healing.

I believe that one has to be very careful and take precautions.

Apparently so Daniel, I know that certain Spiritual Organisations teach Trance Healing but then dont allow it to be practised in the Church environment...I am unsure of the reasoning behind this, but believe it may have to do with "laying on of hands" by the meduim whilst in Trance....but please dont anyone quote me on that, its just what I have heard over the years....

I do however know a Medium who does Trance Healing, but in a different way to the above....I am going to see her work soon, so will fill you all in once I have seen her work....I am very much looking foward to seeing her work....

Well; I do know that in British Law any kind of trance medimship is a tricky subject.

Trance Mediums have to be well aware they can't gain insurance so must work in trance at their own risk. that's ALL forms of trance mediumship not just healing in trance.

The reason being - that British Law says you the individual are deemed to be responsible for your own thoughts and actions towards others and so must always be in control of yourself.

If a trance medium was to go to court because of their work - it would have NO positive effect on their case to say, "It wasn't me, it was my guide who was controlling me." The law might ask for a psychiatric assessment of that trance medium to see if they have any mental problems (are they hearing voices telling them to do things, for example). But they'd ALWAYS rule that it was the individuals own actions that caused their demise.

I'd say that's fine with me. Because you as a trance medium should always be in control of the proceedings and the controlling entity has no right to do anything against your natural sense of right and wrong both morally and materially.

We've had to turn down a number of trance healing mediums very unfortunately simply because they were not insured to work in our churches and its paramount to protect the congregation of course.

That casts no bad light on trance mediums many are very good and valuable to spirit and the earthplane its just that material churches must work and abide by material laws as must all Mediums.

You simply can not gain insurance for trance healing sadly and that is that.

Yes, Trance healing must be done in private as its dangerous to undertake in an open church environment for various reasons. Also as in my note below Trance Mediums can not gain insurance and are by law deemed to be in full control of their own actions, they can not say I was being controlled by someone else it wasn't me.

I saw a trance healer named Steve Upton at Stanstead Hall two yrs ago, although he was in trance, his eyes were still open and he was talking to us. He was giving healing to a lady, and she was shaking , it was just like she was plugged in to the mains, it was brilliant to watch.

Hi.

I work as a trance healer full time and I know that their is very little on this subject which does not help the lack of knowledge the general public has esspecially as their are many ways that Trance mediums can work (Some touch others dont, some use actual surgical instruments and many in varying levels of altered state).

I and my control Allen Jones are always very responsible and careful with our work at ALL times and esspecially when we have done public demonstrations. Any form of Mediumship requires total responsibility for others, wheather it be words said in a private reading or working with a patient with hands on. Personally, I have spent several years training with Ray Brown who is famed for his wonderful work as a Trance Medium with his spirit doctor Paul, (Nominated for a queens award by Three NHS consultants) working in hundreds of his clinics over the last few years, learning to blend with my spirit doctor and learing the correct hand positions to facilitate his work for many conditions in an overshadowed state. We have recently been voted 'Most Popular Healer in Wales' at the 2009 Spiritual Connections awards and I beleive this to be because of Ray/Pauls discipline in training us to work well and sensibly.

It concearns me that there are a few Trance healers popping up that appear to have no training whatsoever, perhaps no insurance and do not take responsibility for their words or actions. Regrettably, its the same old story that the good ones get tarred with their brush.

Please note, I have not mentioned the above queens award nomination and spiritual connections award for ego, but I wanted to highlight that through good diciplined training (and if you are fortunate to have a good mentor) that spirit can do beautiful things through their instuments to help others. Quality Spirit work takes discipline and time to achieve, but being in the rat race of this day and age, many want gifts/abilitys to be unfolded in a short space of time and this is where the learning curve is in my opinion!!.

Thank you for such kind comments. Our work with Paul and Ray is truly a blessing and the right way for me. Working in Ray and Pauls clinic, for years I was in awe of the wonderful results his patients were having (and still do) and its so good to have this replicated in our own clinics. (New clinic in south wales this month).
